6-7 Guys Annual Weekend Out - Looks like we will be going to Bowie, TX and camping out. It will be pretty primitive. No potties, water, electric etc. We are going to try to get enuff paintball guns together to have a little battle. If we can’t… there is always airsoft. Cost will be about $15 to cover food, gas etc.

13-14 Girls Annual Weekend Out - I know the details… you don’t. This year will be a fun surprize for all of you! Cost will be $20.

23-24 EDCCC- Earth Day Creation Conservation Celebration - Let’s celebrate and take care of what God gave us… creation. God made us to be stewards of this world. That means taking care of it. April 24 is Earth Day so we are going to head out to the LBJ Grasslands near Alvord and do some cleaning. But first, on Friday night we’ll meet at church and have a whole bunch of fun at a lock in!! Invite all your friends. Lets see if we can pack the van! There is a cost of $5.oo to help pay for food and drinks. If you want a t-shirt they cost $8. I need your size by Wed. March 31.

18-20 SPRING BREAK ADVENTURE - this year we’re going to Cleburne State Park!! Thursday we’ll leave the church about 10:00am. (so be there before that). After we arrive at the Park and eat lunch we’ll be going to Riverbend in Glen Rose for the zip line. Friday we head back to Glen Rose for a canoe trip down the river! We’re going to have a great time. Cost is only $40. You can pay anytime.

21 SNAC - After church Sunday night we’ll head out somewhere to hang and eat.

21 - SNAC

26 - Winter Jam 2010 - at AAC in Dallas. Cost is $10. Doors open at 6pm. We’re planning on riding the TRE. The train leaves Hurst/Bell station at 5:05pm. So we will be leaving the church exactly at 4:30pm (Bill Weaver time). Cost for the TRE will be $.85 with a valid high school or jr high photo id. Doors open at 6pm and concert starts at 7pm. Per their web site it will end no later than 1030pm. The train coming home leaves the AAC at 10:25 and we will be on it even if the concert is not over. This is the LAST train to Fort Worth. This train arrives back in Hurst at 10:56pm. We should be back at church by 11:15 or 11:30. Please arrange for a ride home. This schedule leaves exacly no time to stop and eat. Please eat before you come, bring it with you or bring about $400 to eat at the AAC.

23 - To Save A Life - Movie starts at 4:10pm so we’ll leave the church at 3:15pm. Cost for the ticket is $8. We’ll eat after the movie. Please bring money. Deadline for signing up is Sunday, Janurary 10th.

14 - Hobo Party - Saturday night we’ll meet at Shady Grove Park about 7pm. Bring a canned veggie (there’ll be a sign up sheet) and dress in your best Hobo attire. We’ll have Hobo stew, a campfire, Hobo games and a great time. This is the perfect opportunity to bring some of your friends that don’t have a church home and introduce them to your church home.

19 - Creation Clean Up- we will leave the church @ 8am and head north to the LBJ Grasslands Black Creek Lake. We will be picking up trash and making the campsites even more beautiful. Please bring gloves. Lunch, snacks and drinks will be provided. If you want to swim or fish or hike please bring whatever you need for those activities. We will take time to play once we finish cleaning. Oh yeah… you can probably get community service hours for this if you need them for school. And we’ll return home between 4 and 5pm.

7-8 - “Conversations” - Girls will be getting together for a night of pampering, fun and bonding. Last years was an incredible time and this year will be even better. The theme of this years Girls Weekend is “Conversations” Please contact Jet to RSVP. Bring a friend.

14-15 - Guys Weekend Out - We’ll be going to the LBJ Grasslands near Decatur. There are over 20,000 acres for us to play in. We will be “roughing it”. Cost is $10. We are leaving the church Friday at 5:30pm and returning Sat. at 2:30.

16 - Back to School Party - Going to the Lyman’s house after church Sunday night. Bring your swim suit and towel!! Please let me know if you’re going so I can get enough food and drinks.
